L’empathie à l’oeuvre d’un texte à l’autre
Sinopsis
Our paper begins by examining the textual tools described by cognitive theories that paradoxically support sensitive rather than verbal communication, the original meaning of the term empathy, in a few literary examples. We then extend our interrogations to the fields of translation, concluding that these tools (including intersubjectivity and arrière-texte) used during reading support the processes activated during literary translation.
